I was searching for a low cost and effective way to promote my online store Perkakasku.com. Then i was interested in Adwords, when seeing many ads appear on the right side of every search i did in Google. Then when i launched my store, i gave Adwords a shot. I was impressed with how Adwords do for my Perkakasku.com for the first 2 days. For 2 days i’d already had more than 30 clicks to my website, Wow that was very amazing start. Although no one bought my products yet, i believed that this way of promotion was right (at least i already gave them awareness to my website, and i hove they would buy my products in the future ). I may need to spend many millions rupiahs (hundreds dollars) to buy an ads slot from a very popular news portal like let say detiknet, in Adwords i only need to spend a few dollars. In effectiveness point of view, i doubt that detiknet would have as many clicks as in Adwords. Although detiknet has millions viewers, i think it is not specifically targeted to my target market.
